Replacing the belt

Cleaning the lter

To remove the belt cover,

use a phillips screwdriver

to remove the two screws.

Grasp the brush bar with

one hand, using the other

hand to keep tension on the

belt while removing by lifting

upwards.

Slide the belt o the motor

shaft and dispose.

Rinse the lter with warm

water. Allow it to dry fully

before replacing it in

your cleaner.

Replace new belt on to

spindles and secure the

belt cover.

Replace the belt cover

inserting the end furthest

from the brush rst.

Then replace the front of the

belt cover before securing in

place with the two screws.

IMPORTANT: Cleaning lters maintains cleaning performance. For best cleaning results lters require cleaning at least every

three months. If your lters are washable make sure that they are completely dry before inserting them back into the cleaner.

IMPORTANT: The motor is equipped with a thermal cut-out. If for any reason the unit should overheat, the thermostat

will automatically turn the unit o. Should this occur, unplug the carpet washer from the electrical outlet and and turn o the switch.

Check the hose for blockages. Clean the lters. Allow the unit to cool for approximately one hour (if you have cleaned the lters

you will need to wait twenty four hours for the lters to dry before putting them back in the machine.) To re-start the machine,

plug it into an electrical outlet and switch it back on.

WARNING: To reduce the risk of electric shock, turn the machine o and unplug from electrical socket before performing

maintenance/troubleshooting checks.

WARNING: Always switch o and unplug the carpet washer from the electrical outlet before assembling,

lling and emptying the clean water tank, emptying the dirty water tank, or before connecting/disconnecting

the attachments.
